No-Bake Peanut Butter Balls
This month I have decided that it would be good to feature recipes for easy no-bake treats that are easy to “Grab and Go”.
I really like some of these to grab on the way out the door on the way to the gym for my workout. I find it helps to have a little something in my stomach so I don’t get queasy. I find that no-bake energy balls or bars are great to make ahead for the week and I feel it is cheaper than buying granola bars or energy bars at the store. One added benefit of doing it yourself is you have control over the ingredients that go into the snacks, and you can adjust the recipes to taste. I have a couple of stand-by recipes that I usually use, but I wanted to see what else was out there and a quick search online turned up hundreds of variations, for vegan diets, or paleo diets and everything in between. This week I thought I would start off easy with Peanut Butter Balls. This recipe was found on realmomnutrition.com and the link is below.
No-Bake Peanut Butter Balls

Serves: 12
Ingredients
½ Cup Natural Peanut Butter
½ Cup Oats
½ Cup Nonfat Dry Milk powder
¼ Cup Honey
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients (if the consistency isn’t quite roll-able, add more peanut butter or more oats or more dry milk powder to get the mixture right)
- Roll into small balls (I find a small scooper works great for getting the sizes even)
- Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator.
I personally would probably double, maybe even triple this recipe, to make enough to last our family the week. And again, a couple of add-ins that you could try with this recipe are: Mini Chocolate chips, mini peanut butter chips, chopped peanuts or coconut.
Enjoy!
