Easy Slow-Cooker Blueberry Oatmeal
This recipe is perfect for the busy family. Prepare this the night before and have a no-fuss, crowd pleasing breakfast ready to go when everyone wakes up in the morning.
This recipe also works with other berry flavors, just substitute frozen strawberries or mixed berries or even peaches for the frozen Blueberries.
Ingredients for Easy Slow-Cooker Blueberry Oatmeal
Makes about 8-10 servings
Unsalted butter, for greasing
3 c. whole milk
2 c. water
2 c. old-fashioned oats
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. maple syrup, plus more for serving
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. kosher salt
1 c. frozen blueberries
1/4 c. shredded coconut
Directions for Slow-Cooker Blueberry Oatmeal
1) Butter the inside of your slow cooker.
2) Add in all ingredients except blueberries and coconut. Cook, stirring occasionally, on high for 4 hours, or on low for 8 hours.
3) In the last 10 minutes of cooking, turn dial to warm and gently stir in the blueberries and coconut.
4) Serve topped with maple syrup.
PREP TIME: About 10 Minutes
COOK TIME: About 4 Hours
