This week we bring you another recipe to help with those cravings for sweets while trying to stay healthy. Try these fudge protein cupcakes. Fudge Protein Cupcakes

These super yummy cupcakes are almost too good to be healthy. With a moist texture, the flavor is sweet and chocolatey. They will crush your cravings for sweets, oh and they have about 11 grams of protein and just under 150 calories per serving.

These are great for a special occasion or even just as a pre or post workout snack. Make a batch or two and store them in an air-tight container or individual zip-lock baggies and they are easy to grab-n-go. If you want to add a little extra zip to them try “frosting” them with natural peanut butter or almond butter.

Here is what you will need to prepare your fudge protein cupcakes


4 Scoops dotFIT Chocolate WheySmooth protein

½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

½ teaspoon baking soda

½ cup oat flour

2 large egg whites

¼ cup skim milk

¼ cup canola oil

¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

3 very ripe bananas


To Prepare Your Fudge Protein Cupcakes

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2) Prepare muffin tin (use cupcake papers if you want).

3) Mix dry ingredients well in a large bowl.

4) Add wet ingredients (except bananas).

5) Mash the bananas in a smaller bowl but leave a little bit lumpy.

6) Add mashed bananas to batter and mix.

7) Bake for 15 minutes, DO NOT overcook, preferably slightly undercook.
